Open Stage is thrilled to announce auditions for our landmark 41st season.
We’re seeking passionate, playful, and dynamic performers of all identities, backgrounds, and abilities to help us bring this season to life. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to our stage, we want to meet you.
Auditions are open to performers age 18+. Roles are available in musicals, comedies, dramas, and ensemble-driven storytelling. All rehearsals and performances take place in Harrisburg, PA, and honorariums are paid for most roles.
Open Stage's Season 41 includes opportunities for understudy, cabaret, and educational tours. Many performers will be cast in multiple projects.

What to Prepare
For Musicals & Cabarets
32 bars of a musical theatre song (bring sheet music) in the style of the shows.
An accompanist will be provided—no a cappella singing please.
Optional: Bring a second contrasting song (highly suggested)
For Plays
A 1-minute contemporary monologue
Please no Shakespeare or classical works
Bring a headshot or recent photo and a resume (if available).

Located on the street level of the Walnut Street Parking Garage. There is free parking on Saturdays on Commonwealth Avenue or $5 parking in the River Street Garage for <4hrs. Street parking is paid by the hour.
