How to cast our shows to your TV with your smartphone or tablet
You'll need:

A Chromecast device or Smart TV with the YouTube app installed. -
A smartphone or tablet with the YouTube app installed. -
All devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Open the YouTube app on your smartphone or tablet. -
Search for "Open Stage" and select our logo from the list. -
Tap the "Subscribe" button. -
Select a show to watch, our latest shows are at the top. -
Select the Cast icon in the corner of the video. -
Select your TV from the list of cast destinations.* -
Enjoy the show!

On your Smart TV open the YouTube app. -
On your smart device select "YouTube on TV" from the list of cast destinations.

Open the YouTube app on your Smart TV or streaming device. -
Search for "Open Stage" and select our logo from the list. -
Select the "Subscribe" button at the top right. -
Select a show to watch, our latest shows are at the top. -
Enjoy the show!
How to set up a new Chromecast device
You'll need:
-
A Chromecast device. -
A TV or display with an HDMI input. -
A smartphone or tablet with the Google Home app installed. -
A Google account. -
Access to a secure Wi-Fi network.

Plug in your Chromecast device to a power outlet using the USB adapter. -
Plug the device into an open HDMI port on the back of your TV. -
You should see the Chromecast welcome screen, if you don't try changing the input on your TV to the HDMI port you used when plugging in the device. -
Download the "Google Home" app to your smartphone or tablet. -
Open the "Google Home" app, if it asks to turn on bluetooth, please do! -
If you see "Set up 1 device" at the top of your screen tap that. -
If you don't see that button tap the '+' symbol on the top left of your screen, then tap "Set up device" then "New device".

How to watch a show in The Vault on your TV

An Open Stage account and subscription to The Inner Circle -
A Chromecast device or Smart TV with the YouTube app installed. -
A smartphone or tablet with the YouTube app installed. -
All devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Go to www.openstagehbg.com/the-vault on your smartphone or tablet. -
If it asks, log in to your Open Stage account. -
Swipe over and tap on the show you want to watch. -
Once it's playing tap on the show title next to the Open Stage logo, this will open the show in the YouTube app. If the show title becomes hidden, tap on the video to show it again. -
Select the Cast icon in the corner of the video. -
Select your TV from the list of cast destinations.* -
Enjoy the show!

How to link your smartphone or tablet to your TV's YouTube app

A Smart TV with the YouTube app installed. -
A smartphone or tablet with the YouTube app installed. -
All devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Open the YouTube app on your smartphone or tablet. -
Select the Cast icon at the top. -
Look for the "Link with TV code" option. -
You'll see a box to enter a code. Leave this open, we'll come back to it. -
Go to your TV and with your TV's remote open the YouTube app. -
Go to the left menu and down to "Settings". -
Once in settings, go to "Link with TV code". -
Now enter the code displayed on your TV into the YouTube app on your smartphone or tablet. -
Tap "Link". -
Now that your smart device is linked to your TV you will not have to repeat these steps.
How to watch our shows on your Smart Display

A Smart Display like Google Nest Hub or Amazon Echo Show.

Say "Show me Open Stage on YouTube" -
Select a show to watch or if we're live streaming tune-in by tapping our logo on the left.
Troubleshooting
YouTube: I have sound but no video or a static image.
If you are trying to watch one of our shows on YouTube but you only can hear the show and not see it, try these steps:
-
Go back 1 page by pressing the back button on your remote. -
Select the show again.

Refresh the website by clicking the reload button on your browser.
-
Swipe or press the back button on your phone, and tap the 'x' in the bottom right corner to close the video. -
Select the show again.
YouTube: Can I rewind or start the show late?
Yes! You can join the show late or watch it anytime on YouTube.
YouTube: I don't see my TV in the list of cast destinations.

Make sure you are using the Google Chrome web browser. -
You must have a Chromecast-enabled TV or a Chromecast device. -
If you have a Smart TV with the YouTube app you cannot cast from your computer. -
Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV. -
Restart your Wi-Fi router by unplugging the power for several seconds.

What is The Vault, and how do I use it?

Go to your benefits page. -
Under the heading "The Vault" select the link to access The Vault. -
If you're on a computer use the arrows on the side of the webpage to scroll through the shows, if you're on a smartphone you can swipe with your finger to horizontally scroll through the shows. -
Select a show to watch.
