THE MEISNER TECHNIQUE
Acting is living truthfully in imaginary circumstances.
Our technique, based in the teachings of Sanford Meisner, emphasizes that in order to carry out an action truthfully on stage, it is necessary to let emotion and subtext build based on the truth of the action and on the other characters around them, rather than simply playing the action or playing the emotion.

Improv for Adult Actors
Wednesdays, April 11-May 16, 6:30-8:30
ages 16 - adult. 6 weeks
$200 ($160 if paid by April 1)
A fun introduction to the joys and thrills of improvisation taught by Improv Queen Jennie Adams. No prior experience necessary! Students are introduced to the basics of improv through games and exercises in a safe, friendly atmosphere. Audition Workshop for Adults
(ages 16 and up)
July 9-13, 6:30 – 8:30 PM
$200 ($150 if paid by June 25)
Get ready for the upcoming theatre season! Adults will practice monologue presentation, cold reading from a script, resume preparation, musical auditioning, and do a mock audition.
