Capital 10-Miler - a run for the arts

Thank you to all who ran the 2nd Annual Capital 10-Miler! Thanks to the Harrisburg Area Road Runners Club (HARRC), Crispy Balance Running Group, Harrisburg Young Professionals, Harrisburg Bicycle Club, the 12 participating arts organizations and the individual volunteers 125 strong who helped make the Capital 10-Miler happen. Let's do it again in 2013!

Run for the arts! The CAPITAL 10-MILER will benefit many arts organizations of the capital region. The event will start and finish on City Island, with the course including the riverfront and the Capital Area Greenbelt as well as scenic bridges over the Susquehanna River.

The flat and fast course traverses the Susquehanna Riverfront, the Capital Greenbelt, and crosses the Walnut Street and Harvey Taylor Bridges.

TRANSPORTATION
Train or bus: Convenient access for travelers arriving at the Amtrak Station, participating hotels are within a quarter mile of the station, and an additional 1/2 mile walking/running distance to the race start/finish line.
Automobile: Easy access from major interstate routes; free parking on City Island the day of the event.
Flights: Harrisburg International Airport is a 20-25 minute drive from downtown Harrisburg.
